I have two 20- week old black sex-links that are almost 21 weeks old and they have still not started laying. Is something wrong? My red-sex link started laying 16 weeks of age, and has been laying every day since.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, Playswithfowl

I have 3 black sexlinks and only 1 is laying yet.

so I figure the other 2 are not far behind, there are almost 24 weeks

My one that is laying is such a good girl I get an egg from her every single day.

    Hang in there

I'm having the same issue along with spatcher, who I sold some Golden Comets to. Grrrr... Everything I read said they start to lay around 16 weeks. NOT TRUE!!! Just to let you know, spatcher, along with myself, are feeling your pain. [IMG]

Chalk us up on the list of 20 week old Black Stars with no eggs yet [IMG]

No squatting as far as I can tell so far, but they are hanging out in the boxes and playing with the golf balls... gotta wait and see I guess!

ALL my hens are moulting and have quit laying, maybe for the year? Could it already be the shortening daylight? I have a jersey giant thats about 6 months old and have not seen one egg either.
