Can I use a blue australop roo over barred Plymouth rock hens to get black sex link chicks
Hello and Welcome To BYC! You should get blue or black pullets and barred (blue or black) cockerels, they should be sex linked but not all blacks.
so will the pullets be a solid color and the roos have white in thier heads kike bkack sexlink chicks

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to our flock. Yes, you can get Black Sex Links with that combination. The newly hatched male chicks will have a white spot on top of their heads and the top of the newly hatched females' heads will be solid colored.
