Black starting on crown and beard, what is this??!!! HELP!!!

My boy is about 3 years old, with 2 girls and 1 other boy. What is this.....?? Black starting all the sudden on the crown, and it looks bad. I need help.

Sounds like fowl pox. Try to do a search on it to get more info. It's very ugly, but definitely survivable.
