Black x Blue Cochins = Splash?

    sorry.. blue to black or black to blue produces 50% black and 50% blue

    No you would need to cross blue to blue in order to be able to get any splash offspring. Breeding black to blue would give only blues & blacks. [​IMG]

    Blue x Blue = 50% blue, 25% black, 25% splash
    Blue x Splash = 50% blue, 50% splash
    Blue x Black = 50% blue, 50% black
    Splash x Splash = 100% splash
    Splash x Black = 100% blue
    Black x Black = 100% black


    I'm pretty sure that's how it goes anyway. Of course subject to murphys law...
