does anyone know what the scientific name for blackheads disease is???
Evelle, it's called Histomoniasis! That's a tongue twister. It's definitely a protozoa that attacks the liver in turkeys. From what I've been reading, you can get the fish zole (metronidazole) from meyerhatchery.com, and some other places.....I would google for the best price. Or you could call around and see if you can find it locally.
why thank you...
by chance do you know what is the main ingreadeant in metronidazole, or fish zole is
and if i cant find these things would any anti protazoan work to help cure or get rid of blackhead??
First State Vet Supply carries metranidazole. As a human medication it's known as Flagyl. A Google search will turn up much information about it.
I believe it's no longer allowed under current regulations but it once was.
Acified Copper Sulfate also will treat Blackhead
THANK YOU!!!!! SOO SOO MUCH APPRECIATED!!!
ive been calling every pet store and feed store around me and cant find any of those..
one lady said she had a differant protazoan killer that was named something else but no one carrys fish zole
i dont want to wait for it if i order it so that why i asked if any protazoan killer would work.
my husband just wants to kill her but i dont.
