blog help please

I recently started a blog, and have received complaints that the site is not sending out emails when I update the blog. Does anyone know what might be going on? I'd appreciate your help on this, thank you!

Blogger lets people subscribe using an RSS feed. I don't think it sends emails to your subscribers.
