While putting the crew up a few minutes ago I noticed my girls wing looked like it was bleeding...underneath the top layer of feathers. Nothing was actually bleeding, it was just feathers- the other side was the same. Am I correct in assuming these are blood feathers? I have never noticed them before. Granted this is only their second molt. I just want to make sure I shouldn't be alarmed by the amount of blood in these feathers? Both of her wings almost feel swollen because of how many blood feathers are coming in! This is normal? Right?
