New chicken owner here. I have three seven week old chicks. This morning I saw blood in the poop tray. I have not noticed this before. All of my chicks have been moved into their outside coop and lived their for a little under a week. It looked like only one of the chickens had blood in their poop. I saw one of my chicks poop (Matilda) and she had blood in her poop. they are running around, eating and drinking, everything looks normal. My suspicion is that its coccidiosis. I am leaving soon to get Corid. Should I go see a vet to be positive its coccidiosis? whats the best way to treat it? What else could bloody poop mean? Should I separate them? Should I treat all of them?

thanks,
Inna

coccidiosis you need to get some Corid fast.
When treating coccidisosis in my own birds I use the severe outbreak dose (0.024%) for 5 days, then the 0.006% amount for 7-14 days.

Liquid dose:
2 teaspoons per gallon for five days, then 1/2 teaspoon for 7-14 days.

Powder dose:
1.5 teaspoons per gallon for five days, then 1/3 teaspoon for 7-14 days.
