There is blood in one of my hen's egg . I haven't seen this before and when I tried looking up possible reasons I couldn't find any that looked like this (most pics were way worse [IMG]) . This hen has had a few meat spots before and this reminded me of that but the extra amount of blood around it is what i am not sure about. Does anyone know what this may be and what it is caused from?..Thanks!

Spots are caused by the rupture of a blood vessel during formation of the egg. Spots are not harmful to you and are okay to eat and as for the hen, I think she should be fine.
