my daughter has a 8 week old blue andalusian. it was with 3 others. it started to have bloody poo but no other birds had this problem. it has been isolated for 2 weeks and it still has bloody stool. there is a scab near its vent. we put it on sulmet and it has not seemed to help any. bird is eating and drinking fine but it will not stop bleeding. is there any other suggestions to help this bird

You might try corid instead of the sulmet. Good luck with your little one.

Corid is a liquid that you add to the drinking water, it's active componet is amprolium. I get it at my local feed store, but you might have to call around since I've seen plenty of posts where people have a hard time finding in their area. I paid about $19 for a bottle taht will last me for years.
