blood on eggs

I had a couple eggs with blood on the outside a few days ago is that normal?

Normal for first or second eggs.

i get some blood on the eggs of new layers. Occasionally from ones that have been laying for a while. Wouldn't hurt to do a vent check to make sure no one has a prolapse. If all is well and it doesn't happen on a regular basis, it should be fine.

Wouldnt be worried, especially if its just here and there. When young birds first begin laying this is totally normal.
