So i candled one of my eggs today, and i could definitely see veins. Im not sure if these are bloodrings or ot though.

Does anyone have pictures of bloodrings? I am going to try to get a picture up soon of the egg. It has a bunch of veins going out fron the yolk.

    Any advice or pics?
    Thanks!
EDIT: Its growing! Heres a video of the embryo moving along with a link to a new thread about it:

If you see vessels, then it's viable. A blood ring is around the inside of the egg and is often kinda blurry/hazy looking. It also may make a complete circle and if the egg is no longer viable, there will be no vessels.

Sounds like a fertile egg to me I'd leave it a few days and candle again as the turn from wiry little spiders into the more recognizable tiny chick form pretty soon [IMG]

The one time I had a blood ring it was obvious. It was a ring of blood not veins and it circled the entire egg. It did not stink yet.

I had 9 eggs that lasted till day 18 with no smell what so ever. Even when I cracked them open last night they smelled like nothing.
