Bloody beaks on my female quail?

So ive noticed with some of my female quail, the tops of their beaks always have crusted up blood? Only on the very top, it dosnt block their nostrils. Its happened a few times and i dont know whats causing it. Any ideas?

one of my female quails had that happen before. She might be scratching her beak on something. do you have pictures?

Mine, ... better 2 of mine ... had bloody beaks by boinking at the top of the cage.
Always healed untreated .
