Hubby found blood splattered on the waterer and inside the coop on shavings. Also a bit on the run "chair roost". Poor Petra has a bloody face on the left. I think it's from the nostril. I cleaned with a bit with warm water, then sprayed MicrocynAH. Separated her into a dog cage so the rest of her flock can see her. I think I see a tiny gap in the lower edge of the nostril as if a piece is missing. Is there more I should do at this point or just watch? She's my biggest gal, bigger than the rooster Roopecca.

Cleaned up a bit. Is a piece missing from her lower nostril?

Right side, no blood, comparing the nostril.

Didn't have a vehicle today, 6 adults 3 cars we play musical chairs with cars and trucks. When hubby came home he held Petra while I washed her off a bit more and a bit more spray. I didn't see any more sprays of blood from her shaking her head so I believe it stopped bleeding. This picture shows her face before cleaning which, frankly, doesn't look bloody. Her nostril looks a but caked ove but I don't want to get too agressive and disturb a healing scab. What do you think? Can she join the flock or will tiny bits of stbborn dried blood attract pecking?

Put her back in the flock unless either she is hemorrhaging blood, close to death or the flock is pecking at her where her life is in danger.
It’s too hard to reintegrate hens, they are brutal. if you put her back in the late aft/evening they shouldn’t bug her.The roosting routine at night is a very important part of the pecking order. I don’t separate my hens unless it’s a true emergency.
Keep an eye out tomorrow for other hens pecking that injury, she may have gotten that original injury from another hen.
