Is there any way to stop pheasant feathers from bleeding after we shoot them? I love to go pheasant hunting and when I shoot a bird I usually want a couple of tail feathers. Some of the time they come out bloody and we have to wait for them to dry. [IMG]

How do you remove the feathers? Do you cut them or pull them?

Try cutting it with a knife or scissors and see if that helps
