I went out this morning and my banty cochin rooster had blood all over the front of his chest. At first i thought it was a hens. Just yesterday he got rough with a hen and it caused her to bleed so he had some blood on his beak. But when i looked it was his. His earlobe had been torn. Fortunately it was not as bad as it looked. There is another rooster in the same pen so i checked his body, beak and spurs/feet for blood but there was none. I am confident that if it was the rooster he would have had blood on him cuz there was quite a bit. I am thinking a hen started pecking at him and all the others followed suit. I brought him in and washed the blood off him and put some neosporon on his wound. He is now in a separate pen all my himself now. Idk what happened. [IMG]
