Are either one of these a pullet? Or do you think both are cockerels? They are 5 months old.

Same bird as above, perhaps a better picture?

    He's obviously a cockeral.

    I'm thinking boy.

Please tell me this one at least is a girl!

I'm going to say that they are all boys except maybe the first picture on the right. Is that actually the same roo as the last picture?

Yep - I only have 4 total and I'm afraid they are all boys! Guess I won't be hatching any more![IMG]

The one on the right might be a pullet...the other one looks like a cock for certain. I am surprised you have not caught at least one of them trying to crow yet. They should be starting any day now.

Quote:That's exactly my thoughts. Apparently the one on the right is the same as the last picture. [IMG] All roos.

I know - I sit out there and watch them - waiting for a crow. I think they are staying quiet just to spite me.

they all look like roos to me - pullets/hens do not have the longer saddle feathers these boys are developing. the one has a more upright tail too - usually indicative of a roo. sorry - just means you need more chickens... [IMG]

All are boys [IMG] No question. They have saddle feathers and hackles already.
