Thank you Lori (Skeeter9) for the wonderful Ameracana Eggs. You did a great packing job!!!!! These eggs traveled from California to Illinois. I received the eggs on April 3rd and set them that evening, so I counted April 4th as Day 1. I couldn't wait to try out my new incubator. I set 7 eggs, but after candling I only had 6 viable eggs. Wed morning I discovered my first 2 pips. I was so surprised. I really didn't expect it to happen until later that night. Here's pics of the progression of Egg#6. You can see how the zip wasn't clean and the hatch took forever. It started pipping at around 10:00 am, but didn't hatch until around midnight. Finally!!!!! A beautiful baby! 5 out of 6 sweet babies hatched.
