Thank you Lori (Skeeter9) for the wonderful Ameracana Eggs. You did a great packing job!!!!! These eggs traveled from California to Illinois.

I received the eggs on April 3rd and set them that evening, so I counted April 4th as Day 1. I couldn't wait to try out my new incubator. I set 7 eggs, but after candling I only had 6 viable eggs.

Wed morning I discovered my first 2 pips. I was so surprised. I really didn't expect it to happen until later that night. Here's pics of the progression of Egg#6.

You can see how the zip wasn't clean and the hatch took forever. It started pipping at around 10:00 am, but didn't hatch until around midnight.

    Finally!!!!! A beautiful baby!

    They are beautiful!

How do you like your incubator? It looks like fun being all see through.

Quote:Thank you so much! I love it!!!! It works like a dream compared to the old Galvanized Brower that I have. The only problem is that I wish it were bigger to hold more eggs.

You should soooo send a copy of the one pic to Myth Busters, so they can see peeps passed out on their picture!!

Or wait until the little peepers poop all over them [IMG]

    Very cute babies.

Quote:The first one to hatch would scoot all the way around whinning with a bust of energy and then pass out on each egg as it passed it by. Too funny!

Quote:I think with the egg turner it holds a total of 16 or 18 standard eggs. I'll have to check. I don't remember b/c I only set 7 in it for the first try.
