Is the overtone on the body plumage dirt from a recent dust bath or the actual feather coloring?

I have a very similar one, an olive egger I believe, but mines head isn't as pronounced black. mine is 10 weeks around, how about yours? I will follow up with pics tomorrow and we'll compare

Yes, thats why I’m not sure. I’ve looked up other images of blues and she seems to look similar.

Actually coloring
