Blue birchen maran gender (6 weeks)

Are these saddle feathers in pic. 1 (pic 2 comb, pic 3 tail feathers)?? All the feathers are a little narrow so not sure. The other blue birchen maran received in the same order is pic 4-5.

Male specific saddle feathers do not come in until they're around 12-16 weeks old. Comb and wattles are the earliest indicators of sex.

It's hard to see color with the heat lamp, but it looks like you have pullets.

Ok, thank you so much! The combs and waddles are not red or large, so I’m assuming pullet. Those narrow feathers were just making me nervous

That looks like a pullet to me.
