I kept this blue cochin from my McMurray order because I believed to be a cockerel, but now I start to wonder if I got him right. I was expecting to see a bigger waddle by now and some rooster behavior, but he is acting like a pullet, always hiding underneath the other pullets.
So what do you think. Boy or girl ?

Pullet, really? I usually get excited to learn that I have a pullet instead of a rooster, but in this case this was the only "roster" that I kept from my McMurray order I sold all the other ones.

. Thank you for your thoughts. So did you kept her?
I know this things can happen, I should of have more patience and wait a little bit longer to be sure. I was just so certain on this one, specially because she has the feathers raise up on the back of her neck. I really wanted to keep one of the blue roosters for my girls. Oh well, I'm afraid they will have to be happy with the d'Anver rooster that I still have.

Yesterday 11:19 pmDon't feel bad, I had an orpington rooster advertised on Craigslist once. The day before someone was scheduled to pick him up "he" layed an egg!
