Blue cochin but boy or girl?

    No crowing but looks like a boy to me.. Especially compared to the other blue cochin we have. They are the same age and are 4 months old. [​IMG]

    Vote boy on that one with the comb and wattles, and am pretty sure I see rooster feathers in the tail / saddle area.

    Yep, he's definitely a rooster, his comb is very red and big compared to your pullet and he also has a very roosterish tail along with saddle feathers.

    Is it at all possible to have a quiet rooster? We live in the city and are not allowed roosters :0( hr is such a pretty bird too

    Well some roosters are quieter but I doubt it's not as quiet as to not disturb neighbors. You can wait until he crows to give him away though. :(
