    Hi All,

My little 5 month old blue cochin, Bluebell, came to me sick and dirty with some badly beaten foot and leg feathers. Now she is healthy and clean and seems to be growing new feathers everywhere and turning into a real ball of fluff, everywhere except her legs and feet. I think I've seen one new feather sprouting on one foot. It's the only part of her that doesn't look that healthy at this point. Does anyone with experience with this breed know when she'll get her new feathers???

    Thanks

If they are broken, you have to wait until she molts, or you can pull them and they will immediately start to re-grow. If they are just missing altogether, check into the possibility of leg mites because they should be growing back in.
