I wanted to see if someone can confirm the breed of one of my mystery chicks. She has feathered feet so I’m leaning towards the obvious blue Cochin, but she doesn’t quite look like the blue Cochin chicks I’ve seen. I know this could be because blue come in various shades? My only other real guess would be a blue copper maran, but I think her feet are too heavily feathered for that.

She is 3 weeks old. Thanks!

Feet do look more white than yellow. Could be a Marans.

Good point about the feet. I will try and provide an update when I know for sure.

She just gets prettier every day! Excuse my paint-y hands, I am still working on finishing up the coop :)

And i am not sure it there is ever a time when my hands aren’t covered in paint, or stain, or sidewalk chalk or dirt. It seems to be constant! Lol

She is far too blue for a Light Brahma. They are very white with black-grey accents on the neck and tail (mainly).
Her comb seems to be larger than a Cochin, is that just me? She is gorgeous!

Legs are looking yellow now. You've got a Cochin.

Light brahma has a pea comb, not a single... Yellow feet. and would not be blue. The down would be yellow or yellowish.
