Blue Copper Maran

One of my Blue Copper Maran Hens stopped laying last fall, around the 1st of February the two Coppers started to lay again as well as my Cream Legbar, now one stopped after a week. I have not run into this before, is this common? Still waiting for my Welsummer and California Grey to start up again.

They just finished molting. Don’t worry it’s perfectly normal

Are you sure she didn't decide to hide a nest on you? That's a fairly common reason they "stop" laying.

Agreed, they might be hiding a nest somewhere. Do you free range them?

I am a city folk no free-ranging, lots of run space, but no hiding places, Thanks
