Blue Coturnix egg, pretty!! Pic

    One of my girls has started laying and her eggs are either steel grey or this pretty blue! It doesn't show that well with my cellphone, it's kind of muted, but they are really pretty! I wish I knew which one was laying them. A regular one from the same pen is next to it.

    That's cool. When mine first started laying, I got a couple olive colored eggs. I thought that was awesome too, lol.

    One of my tuxedos lays an egg like that all the time. It's almost like it is coated with powder [​IMG]

    Nice! I get one like that about once a month from one of my hens but not regularly .

    Mine took a break for a few days, not sure why. Anyway they are back in production mode again, lol.

    I have a quail here in the office I was positive was a male and would probably be taking the bus to freezer camp soon,,,, he laid an egg today!
