Blue Egg. Is this bird to young to lay?

Hi everyone I went out to the coop and found a blue/green egg and it came from my Americana x Jap Bantam hen. I'm not sure how old she is but this egg is cool. Do birds lay eggs by them selves or would oyster shell trigger it.

Hens lay by themselves at about 5 mths old. some a little earlier, some a little later. Oyster shells help put a strong shell on the egg...if your hen is laying she must be a happy hen.

Thanks just contacted the breeder and she is about 6months. I'm glad she's happy . She's so spoiled lol
