I know making charts with pretty colors on them always helps me understand things.

Here's a very simple breakdown of the outcomes of breeding blues, in picture form:

That bottom right last circle is not unique to splash*splash matings...

Mating with one or two blue parents always gives 50% blue.

I LOVE the Chicken Calculator.

Is it confusing at all that I don't always use 4 circles for results (as in punnett squares) but sometimes use only 2? Maybe it suggests that some pairings aren't as fertile?

Also: do you get washing out in any of the above pairings, besides the splash?

I don't mind.

Washing out: if you mean the darkness of the blue or splash animal, then yes. This can happen always, but it is not visible in black animals. I call it: loss of melanizers.

The colour would get lighter. That's what washing out means
