Blue goop inside eggs

We were away on a trip when our hen decided to go broody in the nesting box, she had about 15 eggs under her. They were already a bit developed by the time we got back. We let her sit on them and today (predicted hatching date) We found half an egg shell, yolk, and a broken egg but the membrane was still intact. Inside the membrane was just blue/grey goop. Some other eggs haven't been touched. We have had 0 hatch so far. What's with the blue goop? Never heard or seen it before.

Smells horrible, but it's completely liquid and there are a few small chunks.
