Blue Hen of Delaware (true type)

I am doing research for prices on TRUE, i mean the type that has the goldish yellow streaks on the hackle and not those from the University of Delaware flock.They have always caught by eye and i would like to be able to buy some good stock in a few years.

Seeing that from what i read is pretty much a no... I have been toying with thr idea of 'creating' my own. From what i read they were/are a strain of OEGs. I was thinking of crossing a lemon blue (i think thats the rigth one...) with a blue andalusian and breed for true color and built.

Do any of you guys think it'll work?
