I hatched out 4 Blue Jerseys in my B/B/S Jersey hatch. At first, two looked like cockerels, two looked like pullets. Now, however, the "pullets" are looking more like cockerels. I hope I'm wrong! Any and all feedback appreciated!

Here is one of the two I'm unsure of:

That is what my JG roos have looked like at that age. I'm guessing roo.

Thanks so much, all, for weighing in - I appreciate it!

  8. K, here is a pic of my Jersey Giant.
Remember this one is about 9 months old now.

Soooooooo: Hen or Roo. I pretty much know, but really would love an opinion on this one.

    That's a pullet.
ETA: Rimshoe's is a pullet, not the OP.

  10. Now, here is the kicker. I bought this "lady" off the net. I paid for a ROO and also shipping. The lady was extremely nice, but insisted this was a roo.

I sent pics to her about 5 months ago and NO REPLY. So, I sorta thought pullet at this point. OH WELL, 32 bucks and a hen. I can go to a local auction and get a roo, but they are hard to find, the hens are impossible to find.

I no longer bring any chickies home from the auctions. Too much trouble with diseases.

    Thanks !! my thought too.
