One of my a&ms has some feathers missing around the neck, will blue kote fix her up?
IT CERTAINLY WONT HURT, BUT IS LIKELY UNNECESSARY... MOST LIKELY STARTING TO MOLT (MINE ARE ) AS MOLTING IS NORMAL AND THEY LOOK RATHER SCRUFFY AND BEDRAGGLED FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS.
Except I can see a bit of blood
Quote:my a&ms just got done molting a few weeks ago. strange thing.. my females all molted a week and a half before all my males.? oh well they are all done and laying like crazy again
Quote:Mine look like they got a severe case of the mange. But that's alright, cause when I get THIS ONE LAST 7 DAY'S WORTH OF HATCHING EGGS out of them next week, they're going to the ice camp.......
Clean it up and stick her back in there. Just keep a close eye on her and if it gets worse isolate her and then use blue kote. I wouldn't use it unless she's got a good sized place...
Mine Often Break Or PIck To Agressivley At Pin Feathers During The Molt... This Causes Bleeding At Times. Where Exactly Is This Spot Your Talking About?
On the neck
WHERE ON THE NECK...FRONT, LEFT SIDE, BACK, RIGHT SIDE?
On the back haha
