Just want to know what you all think! I have been told that some Wyandotte's develope quickly so I am wondering if this is a Roo or a Hen. They are around 8 weeks old.

I am terrible at sexing Wyandottes.. The few I've raised always have developed REALLY quickly in wattles and comb...

I have a feeling you may have a pair though.

I have 2 wyandotte pullets(maybe hens i'm not sure if they are laying yet) and they grew pretty quickly but their combs and wattles and just now starting to get big [IMG]
but what type of wyandotte might affect that too
btw they are about 6 months

The one on the left in the photos is almost definitely a cockerel, and the other one could be, too. But Wyandottes can be difficult to sex until they're older, so I'd wait and see.

I'm pretty sure that the one on the left is a cockerel, and I think the other one is too.

I wouldn't rule out them both being roosters. Do you have profile shots of them so we can see how they're coloring in?

Sorry, not really. What I meant was a side shot, mostly of the wings and body. males color in different than females, it may just be too early to say for sure.

I tried to get the tail feathers on this one. I will post a side view tomorrow. I can tell you that one has more red in the wings and is getting darker as is the blue.
