Blue Laced red or Golden Laced Wyandotte?

So you guys are thinking that these two chicks are Golden Laced? They look differently

I don't think either will have blue lacing. But remember that blue is genetically inconsistent. Crossing to blues gives black and splash chicks as well. So you could have black laced reds instead of gold laced. Black laced reds are darker than gold laced.

Yes, they are both GLW! I have one with stripes and one without also. I'm beginning to think the striped one is a pullet and the other is a roo, it is double the size of the striped one! But too young to confirm yet

It's possible. Just have to wait and see. At this stage, neither looks pale enough to be blue laced.

Yes. I purchased them from Hoover. They were labeled blue laced gold wyandotte. Delivered 3/18/22 at 3 days old.
