Hi! I'm so happy with the way the Jersey Giant x Naked Neck crosses are turning out

There is such a variety of comb type and skin color.
Here is a straight comb blue:

And a no comb blue:

This is a feather neck blue pullet from the same hatch.
I just love her dark skin and comb.
There are several more of these in blue and black.
I'm not sure *where* I'm going with these particular ones, but I think they look awesome

Here are a couple of younger birds from the cross:

The really dark-skinned ones surprised me. They are much darker than the NN roo ((Naked Neck x Silkie) X Ameraucana).

i really love them, i want to do the same cross that you did , but now i have to get rid of my chickens, so , i`m so jealous because i want them too

I want a few showgirls but I would either have to buy some or wait a few years for the silkie gene to be bred into my birds.

Oh, Maralpz! I'm so sorry you have to get rid of your chickens! That's sad.
Just shout when you are ready to start up again, I'll have eggs to share.

Thanks Chicken_boy_Kurt! I like Naked Neck Silkies, too.

I wanted to take this cross in the other direction and keep only the dark skin, pea-ish comb and nice disposition .
Some of these have all that and the red-skinned ones are even growing on me (kind of).

Some of them don't have a comb at all to speak of, just smooth flat place where a comb should be. That's odd, but I like it. It's like they've been dubbed, but they were born that way.
