I have been very kucky with all of my animals. I have not had any losses as of yet. (knock on wood). Today I have seen several blue poops on my driveway. seriously, they're kind of purplish blue. Now no one is acting ill, but it worries me. There are also a few really black poos. They all free range all day, so don't know if they found wild grapes or what... any thoughts?

    Really blue.And really black

Black poop is cocsidiosus (sp) normally has blood in it too.. blue is something they go into .. I would bet pink, purple and orange fall into that catogory too.. [IMG]

Blueberries made my birds' poo so blue it looked black.

I find black/purple poos all the time when black berry season is in. If they are acting fine, I bet they found some colorful food to eat.

My Dad gave my chickens some blueberries left over from a big pancacke breakfast. They LOVED them. Later that day I had a run full of blue poop.

Your birds must have gotten into something yummy [IMG]

When mulberries are ripe, all the wild bird poop is that color, too.
