Blue Wyandotte ???

I was sold this as a blue Wyandotte but after finding out some of the other pullets I was sold are truly what I was told makes me wonder about all of them. She has yellow legs and a single comb.

Orpingtons have white legs.

Single combs do pop up in Wyandottes from time to time. It is not unusual. Desirable? No, which is why someone would not want to keep her in a breeding pen.

I am mistaken. I thought her legs were yellow but they seemed kind of washed out. Here is a pic from today.

This is also common in Wyandottes-lost of cross breeding, but as long as the feet are yellow, it's still "acceptable".

Ok thank you. I just have a small back yard flock for eggs. Have different breeds just for looks and different eggs. Just curious to what breeds I actually have.
