I have a pullet that is half Buff Orpington and half Easter Egger. She looks like a BO, but with green legs. She has started laying, but the eggs are tiny blue eggs the size of bantam eggs. None of my other hens laid such small eggs when they first started so I'm wondering if there is something wrong with her. Her mother hatched one egg then left her egg so I put it into an incubator and finished her out. She walks kind of funny and always has, but other than thinking she's a human instead of a chicken, she's fairly normal. She has two a brother and a half sibling brother who are huge, nearly a third larger than their father, but she is a very petite chicken, so maybe she's an accidental bantam?

Every hen is different. Some just lay smaller eggs. Have you checked the egg for a full yolk? Sometimes smaller eggs don't contain a full yolk, otherwise they should enlarge as you hen matures. Second season eggs are bigger than first season.
