I was wondering if a wild bobwhite quail could have a Japanese/courtnix quail buddy. they are both around 1 week of age. the wild rescued one has been with us for four days. I was thinking if they were raised together it would be fine. The bobwhite quail did used to have a sibling a day ago but he sadly passed away. so he probably wouldn't be scared if another was with him to keep him company. I know quails do better in pairs. The bobwhite has been acting strange ever since his sibling died, so I wanted to get another to keep him company. I was wondering though if they noticed they were different breeds at such a young age.
