HI I have just started out in incubating eggs, Iam going to incubate the above eggs. I have been told to leave eggs for 24 hours at room temp before putting them in incubator, also been told 12 hours, could anyone tell me which one I should abide by. thank you billm
 
I would assume that in this case the same rules would apply to quail as to chickens. If they are shipped eggs, recommendation is to let them sit (upright) 24 hours before incubating. If they are your own or local, you do not need to do this. Hope that helps.
