Yea, buddy, I think I'm taking this one up.
On that note, does anyone in Central Indiana want to go in on an order and split shipping?
I saw that, too. That looks like a good deal!
OH NO ~ BOGO! I need to stay away from this website . . . LOL.
I knew when I opened my email from Meyer Hatchery today, that it was going to be a bad idea. It was to good of an offer to give up so I ended up ordering 50 baby chicks. Even though I was expecting another hatchery order that same week only a day or two apart. I also need to stay way from this and any other hatcheries website. I'm thinking about taking my email of their mailing list.
Gonna try to be first in line tomorrow morning.
Phoned my pullet assortment order in this morning, they ship this afternoon, and I expect them Wednesday. Pulled a little trick, I'll see if it works. Ordered 50 and shipping allows 51 so I added one male white rock to the order. Why? Well, I would prefer the more popular egg laying breeds and I suspect they would be organized on sorting tables close to other popular egg laying breeds as opposed to rare and fancy breeds. So I am hoping the filler person will go get the white rock and be among the chicks I prefer when they begin load my shipment box. May have been smarter to just ask phone person, but did not think of that!
wow, what do you all do with that many chicks?
