Bohemian pheasants

    Does anyone raise these ? ( Bohemian pheasants ) I am just starting with some and dont find much info on the web.. Thanks... connerhills

    Look up Phasiauns colchicus colchicus. There really isn't a "Bohemian" blackneck.

    Blacknecks can be larger than your standard ringneck. I know there are a few here that raise Jumbo Ringnecks and Jumbo White Ringnecks.

    Thank all of you for the reply,, yes that is them.. really nice showing in the sun.,, I hope to raise some this year. One web site indicated these were some of the first pheasants imported into Europe. george

    Any chance you found some (Bohemian pheasants) also known as Southern Blacknecked pheasants. I have a few young left from this years hatch -2014 out of some of the best lines in the US. You can email me at [email protected] for more info and pics if you'd like.
