Hi everyone - I'm somewhat of a novice here.

My plan is to start some seeds indoors since I live in MN and our growing season is so short. I've been reading online but I do a lot better with books. Is there a book you've read (or have) that you would recommend for starting seeds?

    Thanks in advance. :)

Not in particular but if you go to tractor supply co. they usually have some really good books on things like that.

I would suggest that you start at your local library. Every body has different gardening goals and comfort levels, so it's hard to suggest a one size fits all book. But, if you poke around at your library, I bet you'll come home with a whole arm load of books on gardening and poultry keeping. Enjoy your reading.

Not to mention, after you've learned all you can from one book, you can move on to one that's a bit more meaty!

    True!

We've started saving eggshells to plant in too. I saw that somewhere. :)
