    Hello,
This is probably an odd request but its worth a try. I got 7 hens this may before school ended. One of them died to poor circulation but that problem was resolved. We made another window for air circulation. I have tried to talk my parents into buying a rooster but they said no due to the loudness of them which I agree with. The reason why I would like to have a RIR is because I would like to try to produce black sex link chickens. The school project is called SAE (Supervised Agricultural Experience) which is through agriculture classes. If i do well enough I could potentially win rewards towards my college life.If I can find someone who is willing to borrow me one of their roosters for a week or two depending on the chickens that would help me a lot. I know my experience level is low and I'm willing to learn more and work with you and your rooster. I have an 110% enclosed coop. It is 7 feet long 6 feet tall and 4 feet wide. I have 2 dogs plus whatever predators that are in the woods behind us. Only animal that went close to the chickens were wild turkeys. My dogs scare away anything that is in the yard so i don't think that any predator will dare to come close to the coop. If anyone has any other ideas of how I should approach this please let me know. Also to add on I will be making a "portable" coop thing so i can put them in the yard and watch them. Hopefully this will be made before snow falls. The class starts in the middle of April and goes until the last day of school (approx.) Thank You for taking your time to read this.

Where are you located? I am very familiar with FFA SAE projects. Good luck to you and maybe with your location listed someone will be able to help you out.

I will not be having an SAE project this year but I would still like to try to produce chicks. Right now I can't and won't accept any offers due to a sickness in my flock.
