HI folks - I need a quick answer if you can help. I'm getting my first sheep in 2-3 weeks, but the person I am getting them from called last night to say he has a ewe lamb twin whose mother is only accepting her sibling and will not feed her. He wants to know if I will take the lamb as a bottle baby ASAP. I would love to, and luckily my husband works seasonally and will be home during the day for 3 more weeks before he starts back to work, so he can help with the feeding regimen. However, after that, we're both at work during the day. Do you know if it is possible to have the lamb down to 2 feedings per day by the time she is 3 weeks old? Or, if it would help. I could feed her overnight once and before and after work, but she'll still have to go about 9 hours without any bottle during work hours. We both commute 45 minutes so it is not feasible to run home to feed the lamb. I need to decide immediately if I'm going to take the lamb so any advice is really appreciated. I have looked at a ton of articles online but they all say different things.
