how long do they need to stay inside? Its been 80 during the day and about 70 at night. theyre in a metal building (with windows and vents) that stays about 90 during the day so i have a fan in there for air circulation.

It's not so much about staying inside, but having access to heat (or in your case, cooled down age appropriate temperatures) until they're feathered out enough to be able to maintain body temperature themselves.

Assuming moderate temperatures, anywhere from 3 to 5 weeks.

If you have a heatlamp or something similar, they can move outside right now. Provide a roof to protect them from sun and from rain, and make sure they're somewhere safe from predators. Also make sure they're in a big enough space that they can get warm under the heatlamp and cool off away from it.
