Why doesn't my 9 month old Red Bourbon Tom Turkey have a white tail? It is red. His wings are the only part of him that is white. Is it because he is immature?

Why doesn't my 9 month old Red Bourbon Tom Turkey have a white tail? Is is red. His wings are the only part of him that is white. Is it because he is immature?

It most likely is because he is not a pure Bourbon Red. Pictures will help. There are a lot of turkeys that are sold as something that they are not.
