Can you tell the sex yet? We've seen it puff up and strut for a few seconds like the tom does, but we've also seen our hen do that!

From what I can see of her breast feathers it appears that she is a hen. Dark colored hens have light colored lower edges on their breast feathers. The breast feathers of toms do not have that light colored lower edge.

You are correct that hens can and do strut.
