Hi all, just thought I should get around to introducing myself.
I've always lived in the suburbs. My parents raised chickens and rabbits when I was very young. I've had all kinds of animals as pets: dogs, cats, mice, frogs, turtles, horses. You get the idea. Now that my child is grown and ready to fly the coop, I decided it was time to fill it again with some real chickens. Was planning on waiting until I retire and move to a farm, but who can resist those cute little fuzzies. I've really enjoyed lurking on here and learning so much from everyone.
