Boy duckling

I just received 4 ducklings. 1 being a male. He came with a band on his leg. Does that band grow with him or do we need to remove it? TIA...First time duck owers...

Congrats on the ducklings and welcome to BYC! You will need to remove it before he outgrows it.

He will eventually out grow it and it will need to be removed before it gets snug. Make sure to check it daily, they grow faster than you’d think!

Yes. Thank you. I did remove the band. I had no idea it had to come off. I wish the company highlighted the info or something (ordered online). I feel like most new duck owners wouldn't even look at the slip attached. And if so you might skip right passed it like myself. -A complaint I plan on taking up with that company.
